Welcome!
This first post includes an excellent poem tribute to Silicon Valley.  Thank you for joining this journey of connecting to news and insights behind the scenes of Silicon Valley.  There will be stories about entrepreneurs and businesses and recommendations of resources used.
This idea was started from an idea and newsletter on Twitter, Hidden Silicon Valley Buzz.  We quickly found the need to help our community.  Stories will include all cities of the traditional Silicon Valley from Palo Alto (birthplace) to San Jose (capital).  Of course modern day Silicon Valley boundaries extend to San Francisco, East Bay communities, and even Santa Cruz and Monterey. Other regions have sprung up across the USA and World.
Mary Bowden Carroll from “Ten Years in Paradise”
Silicon Valley is a place of legend and hyperbole.  Promoters have lauded it as ‘the center of a progressive force for global change’ through technology.  Social activists claim it to be a ‘place of warped and unrealistic financial expectations – where success is measured in terms of dollars, not personal happiness.’
For most of its residents Silicon Valley is simply an exciting and challenging place to work and live surrounded  by spectacular scenery with an unbeatable climate.  They just have to share these considerable benefits with a large number of fellow residents, all of whom seem to want to travel on the same freeway at the same time.
Silicon Valley is not only a big city, it is a suburb, with multiple local people stories.
This is from A Day to Remember in Silicon Valley tribute on a Travel and Lifestyle blog.
